
Meredith MacKay is change-maker, an influencer and a collaborative leader who has worked in the field of inclusion, equity and diversity for five years. Meredith’s superpower is relationship building and she uses it to live her purpose, which is to drive positive change in the world, both in the workplace and at home. She’s always been a leader who strives to bring out the best in everyone, empowering them to bring their best and true self to whatever they’re doing. She has experience developing and delivering Equity, Inclusion and Diversity strategies and programs and has created meaningful culture change through initiatives at large, complex and diverse Canadian companies. Some of her most impactful change initiatives include: Parental Leave support programs; EDI training programs; and governance and operational frameworks to support healthy, effective and engaging inclusion networks. She played an important role in supporting her organization to become one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers year after year. She has extensive education in equity, inclusion and diversity, including the Diversity and Inclusion diploma program through Cornell University and Inclusive Leadership offered through University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business. Meredith has a passion for equity and inclusion and strives to continue to personally learn and change and to support others to do the same. She especially loves supporting inclusion and equity in sport as she and her partner travel the world attending sporting events.
